What is a joiner? Joiners, created by English painter David Hockney, are intricate collages that can be either arranged in a grid or create a shape of their own. To create my joiners, I stood outside at FIT for four hours after changing my mind last minute on a project for class. I photographed everyone who walked by, and the people who came to see me after I posted several model search ads on my Instagram story.
